My role currently at Interweave is to design layouts for SpinOff, Handwoven, and Super SIP Magazines along with designing digital eMags for the desktop and for iPad platforms. The subject matter of Interweave is towards art/craft enthusiasts who desire to create beautiful handcrafted work and learn more about their topic. The content: beautiful palettes, textures, artistry, quality, and an in depth focus on all things handmade.

Interweave, a division of F+W Media, Inc., is one of the nation's largest craft media companies with businesses in magazine and book publishing, interactive media, broadcast programming, dvd training and events for art/craft enthusiasts. Our offices are all over the U.S. including England.

I love a great tool and keep learning all there is to know in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop (including extensive color correction and image enhancement), InDesign, and Flash. Adobe Digital Publishing Suite is also used in iPad delivery. I train employees on skills in Illustrator and Photoshop to help with everyday challenges.

My past employment was at SafeCard Services, Inc. (a leading credit card service company) in Cheyenne, WY where I worked as designer for their direct mail division. Their clients were large bank, oil, and retail companies. After that I worked for the City of Fort Collins in their graphic design department servicing all departments from the City Manager's office to the Police Department. Soon after I started working for Interweave Press because of a desire to expand my portfolio and discover what publishing was about.

I graduated from the Colorado Institute of Art in '90 and have continued to enjoy the field of graphic design ever since.
