Digital Salon: What's New in Adobe CS5!
Registration is required for this offering (below).
Welcome to the new world! Adobe's Creative Suite has undergone another update to its already feature-rich set of designer tools and utilities. Find out which new features and capabilities make the most sense in your real-world workflow at this BDA Digital Salon. Published author, professional designer/illustrator and Apple Consultant Network member Tim Meehan will present his take on the real-world value of Adobe's new suite of creative tools.

Find out what's new, what's useful and what makes sense for your workflow in this fast-paced demonstration/discussion event in BDA's new Arapahoe Studio in Boulder. We'll look at InDesign's content-grabber tool and e-book output, easy tweening in Flash, new brush and perspective tools in Illustrator, Dreamweaver's new browser lab and CMS support, and a slew of new 3D and animation tools in Photoshop. Bring your curiosity, questions, headaches and concerns. Get the real-world take on the new Adobe Creative Suite.

BDA's Digital Salons are a great way to meet fellow digital professionals, find crew-people for projects you might be working on, publicize a digital-related event you're putting on, as well as seeing some cool digital art! The events begin at 6pm!

In addition, we'll have a special guest presentation by film producer Mike Dion. He'll be screening a short clip from his adventure documentary Ride the Divide, which follows three competitors in the world's toughest mountain bike race as they traverse over 2700 miles along the Continental Divide in the Rocky Mountains. Mike will show a 10-minute clip of the film, followed by a 5-minute talk about the creative process, and a 5-10 minute Q& A session. Bring your thirst for the outdoors!

Schedule:
6:00 pm - 6:30 pm - networking, schmoozing, and general good times
6:30 pm - 7:00 pm - Ride the Divide clip showing and Q& A session
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm - What's New in CS5! with Tim Meehan
8:30 pm - 9:00 pm - CS5 Q& A session and additional networking
Who Should Participate:
