Description:
What do I do, now that I have this camera? Learn how to really use your digital camera at home, at work, or traveling. Learn how to optimize your photos so that they achieve their full potential.  This class covers the basics of using a digital camera and how to set up a digital workflow that works for you as a digital photography amateur, whether you have a point-and-shoot or an SLR. This class will be intimate, laid back, and non-competitive, and will
involve a mixture of lecture and hands-on photography.  It's a
great choice for beginners, hobbyists, and amateur photographers
who want to make better use of their cameras. You must take some
photographs before the class, but we will also be shooting during the day. Part 1 - Getting to Know Your Camera:- white balance
- exposure compensation
- metering
- focus settings
- size and quality settings

As we shoot photos, you'll learn how to really make your camera’s features work for you. In 3 hours, you’ll discover a multitude of ways to take a particular picture. In the second half of the class, we will discuss what to do with the photos once you’ve taken them.
Part 2 - Managing Your Photos:- camera/computer connections
