Description:
The RED Digital Cinema camera is a 4K ultra-high definition camera with a native 35mm sensor which produces RAW digital video files. There has been a great deal of curiosity, hype, and speculation about this camera, which we will attempt to address with this class. We will build a fully rigged RED Digital Cinema camera, hook it up to a monitor and explore its feature set, discuss the merits and costs of its RAW workflow, and take a look at several of the available options for post-processing the RAW footage files.
Presented as a Lecture-Style Workshop:
Affordable workshops designed to introduce a subject quickly and efficiently. Students can take notes from the instructor's projected computer screen, and/or bring their own computer to follow along.
