Object-Oriented PHP Hands-On Intensive
Registration is required for this offering (below).
Description:
Are you still writing procedural code but wanting to move to object-oriented programming? Have you heard people rave about its advantages but don't know where to begin learning? Have you tried learning on your own but found some of the concepts a bit overwhelming? Then this class is for you!

Object-Oriented PHP will cover a wide range of concepts required to fully understand the world of OOP, and how to write object-oriented code in PHP. From basic classes and objects, to more advanced concepts such as inheritance and abstraction, and even a few common design patterns.

After the class you come away with a foundational understanding of these topics and more:

* OOP Terminology
* Classes, objects, and instantiation
* Inheritance
* Abstract, static and final classes and methods
* Interfaces and implementations
* Common design patterns

The intention of this class is to introduce you into PHP's world of object-oriented code, and give you a solid foundation on which to expand your PHP development skill set.
