Description:
This is the workshop for you if you've recently bought a digital camera and are wondering how you can use Photoshop to enhance your digital photos. We'll take a look at the Photoshop interface, learn some Photoshop basics like layers and selections, and cover some easy ways to improve your digital photographs in the Photoshop darkroom.
This three-hour workshop will cover:

Instruction is in Adobe Photoshop CS4.
Presented as a Lecture-Style Workshop:
Affordable workshops designed to introduce a subject quickly and efficiently. Students can take notes from the instructor's projected computer screen, and/or bring their own computer to follow along.
Who Should Take This:
Participants should have a good working knowledge of operating a personal computer, either a PC or Mac.
Instructor:
The class is taught by Photoshop author and trainer Jan Kabili. Jan has written 6 books on Photoshop and Web design, including Photoshop CS Complete Course, Photoshop 7 Complete Course, Photoshop 7 Hands on Training for the Web (with Lynda Weinman), Photoshop Elements 2 Complete Course, and the upcoming How to Wow: Photoshop for the Web. She is a contributor to Mac Design Magazine, Photoshop User Magazine, SBS Digital Design magazine, Photoshop Fix newsletter, and Photoshop Elements Enhance newsletter. Jan ran the Adobe training program at Lynda Weinman's Ojai Digital Arts Center, and has trained hundreds of students on behalf of Adobe Systems, Total Training, Software-Cinema, Digital Media Academy, University of Colorado at Boulder, University of Colorado at Denver, and Denver University.
