Digital Photography Group Critique

Characteristics Of This Class:

Do you want an expert opinion on your photography? Are you stuck on a particular issue of composition, color, or technical execution?  Perhaps your portfolio just doesn't feel that cohesive, and you're not sure why. Or maybe you just need a pair of fresh eyes to look at your work - an expert rather than a friend or a family member. Join other photographers in a group critique led by a BDA instructor to help identify your photography's strengths and weaknesses.  The instructor will look at each participant's photos in turn and give you honest, constructive feedback.   Group critiques are a great way to get fresh perspective on your photos, and analyzing other photographers' work is a great way to get new ideas and take your understanding of photography further.

The group critique is open to photographers of every skill level who have at least five photos to show. Each participant will be the focus of the critique for 15 minutes, with the instructor and other participants giving feedback. The focus will move in turn to each participant.  The critique begins at the scheduled time and will end when all participants have gone. Please bring no more than 6 images to review, either as 11' x 14' mounted prints or on a flash drive, CD, DVD, or other removable media.

Who Should Take This:

Photographers of every level who can bring 3-6 photos to show.
