As SVP in charge of account services at Location3 Media in Denver, Samantha Bedford plays an active role in keeping the firm on the leading edge. Prior to joining Location3 in 2002, Samantha was a senior media marketer at ForwardSLASH, Inc. in South Africa. She has several industry certifications and recognitions—Google AdWords Professional, Yahoo! Ethan Benninger

Energetic and passionate about all things video, Ethan Benninger works by day as an editor for People Productions in Boulder. He has worked with both national and international clients such as ABC Family, GE, The American Red Cross, Papa John's Pizza and The Food Network. Ethan’s projects include documentaries, TV spots, and everything in between. In addition to being an Apple Certified Pro on multiple applications within Final Cut Studio, he is also an Apple Certified Final Cut Pro Trainer, and teaches at the Art Institute of Colorado in downtown Denver.

Bruce Borowsky

Bruce Borowsky

Bruce Borowsky has worked with People Productions in Boulder for over ten years as producer, director, cameraman, editor, and lighting director for a wide variety of commercial projects. He turned from professional still photographer to filmmaker in 1988 after working with adventure photographer Galen Rowell. Once in Boulder, Bruce produced the national television series The Climbing Show. His award-winning 2003 documentary, 18 days, 16 hours, detailing his trans-Atlantic race in a 72-foot sailboat, illustrates his vast experience shooting in unlikely places, whether in the midst of a hurricane or hanging off a rock ledge in Yosemite.

Angela Bowman of MoonGooseDesigns.com and AskWPGirl.com has been involved with internet technologies since 1996 when she became a member of the online tech support team at Quark, Inc. After learning about WordPress at BDA, she became a full-time WordPress guru, serving individuals and small- to medium-size organizations. She stretches the boundaries of WordPress by making extensive use of its built-in features combined with judicious use of plugins and creative CSS. Angela will help you think outside the blog box by helping you understand the nuts and bolts of WordPress and to endlessly customize your WP themes.

Brian Brown

Brian Brown has owned his own full-service video and motion-graphics production business, BrownCow Productions, since 2004. A "one-man show," he scripts, produces, shoots, and edits all of his own content. He regularly creates video for the web, broadcast television, large events, and in-house corporate training. In December 2009, he purchased a Canon 7D video-capable DLSR, and has never looked back, embracing the cinematic look this camera provides his productions. He's shot hundreds of hours of footage with his DSLR.

Antony Cooper

Antony Cooper has directed and produced numerous award-winning videos. Several years in music TV production for MTV and Polygram Records include names such as the Rolling Stones, the Who, Elvis Costello and INXS. Other projects include Director of on-air operations for the Denver based Scandinavian Channel, and Director of Photography on the environmental documentaries The Nature of Cities and Transforming Energy. Karen Divine

Karen Divine first studied photography in the early 1970’s and went on to study painting, drawing, and alternative photographic processes. While she finds that creating a beautiful single image is crucial to being a fine-art photographer, it is the multi-image that speaks to her heart. She has won numerous awards from international organizations, including the 2011 Discovery of the Year Nominee from International Photography Awards, the Julia Margaret Cameron Award for Women Photographers, the Prix de la Photographie Gold Award, and a first place WPGA Pollux Award.

Tara Dunn is the Web Analytics Manager at Location3 Media in Denver. Erica Gamet has been involved in graphics and pre-press for nearly 25 years. She is a speaker, writer, and trainer, focusing on Adobe InDesign, Apple Keynote and iBooks Author and other print- and production-related topics. She regularly contributes to InDesign Magazine and Design Tools Monthly, tech edited How To Do Everything with Adobe InDesign CS4 from McGraw-Hill Osborne, and is the leader of the Denver InDesign User Group. Steve Gandy is an educator, trainer, technology support professional and life-long photographer. Through 21st Century Graphics, Tim Meehan provides design and illustration to a broad range of national and international clients with a focus on productivity, creativity and fun. Tim has over 30 years' experience as a professional graphic designer and trainer, and was one of the first to recognize the computer's design potential. Eric Miller has a background in software, architecture, and music, and wowed his friends in high school by playing Tetris with his toes. Mark Osler

Mark Osler is a veteran photojournalist with two decades of experience at many of the strongest newspapers in the country, in terms of use of photography. At The Herald, a small but widely-regarded newspaper in Jasper, Indiana, Mark photographed, edited and laid out as many as 10 picture stories a month. More recently, as a picture editor for the Rocky Mountain News, Mark earned a multitude of awards, including the Pulitzer Prize for breaking news photography in 2003 for the News' coverage of the 2002 wildfires. Currently, Mark is based in Denver and continues to be a sought-after freelance photojournalist.

With 35 years in the film and video production world, Lowel Pierce has done a little of everything and enjoyed the variety. A Colorado native and graduate of CSU in Technical Journalism, Lowel has worked as a TV news photographer, a cinematographer in Saudi Arabia, a partner in a video production company. As both one-man-band and freelance Director of Photography for 22 years, Lowel has worked on indie features, shorts, documentaries, TV commercials, and high-end corporate productions earning a CINE Golden Eagle, Heartland Emmies, and Videographer Awards of Distinction.

Wes Price

Wes Price has over 13 years experience producing illustration and animation for national and community organizations. His clients have included New Life Cinema, Warner Brothers, Buena Vista Games, Simon & Goodman Picture Company and National Geographic. As a board member for ASIFA-Colorado, the local chapter of the International Animated Film Society, he was instrumental in delivering the Animation Station workshops during the 2008 and 2009 Denver International Film Festivals. Wes is a lifelong student of anatomy and holds an MS in Medical Illustration and Animation from the Medical College of Georgia.

Reese Van Allen began at Fox in Los Angeles and selling two self-produced/self-directed pieces: the short film Love Leprosy and the music video Stuck in a Stare. Since getting bit by the reality bug in 2004 she has been producing/field directing for Surreal Life (VH-1), My Fair Brady (VH-1), Texas Cheer Moms (TLC), Wave Chasers (Travel Channel), Extreme Dodgeball (GSN), Dr. Phil (syndication), and Destination Wild (Fox Sports). Currently Reese co-executive produces the Total Outdoorsman Challenge (Outdoor Channel) and has many projects in development for major networks.

Steve Hall began his career in the trenches as a Field Director/Editor for the PBS series Georgia Outdoors. But his move to Los Angeles and job at E! Entertainment catapulted his career as a Reality TV Editor. Because of the post-production networking group he began, he's steadily been working since 2000 as both an Offline and Online Editor for shows on ABC, CBS, MTV, VH1, BET, Bravo, TLC, Lifetime and Oxygen and was nominated for an Emmy for his role on NBC's daytime docu-drama Starting Over.

John Waugh's commercial and fine art photography includes motor sports, ski industry marketing, sports and action lifestyle, product and studio photography. No stranger to the back of a camera, John built his first darkroom some 40 years ago, and has continually updated his equipment and techniques. From state of the art digital cameras and computer retouching to large format architectural cameras, John is well versed in both the craft of photography and the technical aspects of digital image capture and publishing. Douglas Wray

Doug Wray has been working with online information systems since 1984. Starting in science using TeX and LaTeX realtime rendering on Macs progressing to desktop publishing for commercial printing thence into web design. He's used numerous electron-herding methods including HTML and CSS. Sometime in 2001 he broke with conventional wisdom and stopped using tables for structure - following in the footsteps of Eric Meyer and Jeffrey Zeldman. He now builds websites exclusively with CSS and finds it an exciting and challenging pursuit.

Abigail Wright

Abigail Wright is a professional filmmaker, writer, producer, and information designer. For the independent film company Miranda Productions, Inc., Abigail wrote and produced four environmental documentaries that have accumulated over eighty major awards and have been broadcast all over the world. She is the senior producer of an innovative immersive website soon to be launched, working on a hybrid documentary based on the Tibetan Book of the Dead, and developing a TV series for kids on the wonders of food. Before moving to Boulder in 1994, Abigail acted and directed on stages in New York, Toronto, and Montreal.
