Robert Kittilä has been shooting film and video as well as commercial still photography for over 28 years. 16 years in LA and here in Boulder since 94.
Film and video as well as editing and music scoring started with Stacy Peralta doing the now classic Bones Brigade Skateboard Videos. More extreme sports followed putting the World Champion "No Way" Hans Rey biking trial-rider on the map with a series of videos and especially the now timeless "Level Vibes". A number of comedy film shoots for Fox TV as well as a couple of Feature Films followed.
Robert's specialty includes his uncanny ability to tell the story using whatever means in his arsenal of techniques and experience. His lighting ability is second to none and is currently teaching a very popular lighting class at CU Denver. He has also been teaching lighting at Red Rocks C.C., Colorado Film School and CU Boulder.
He continues shooting nationwide and specializes in extreme sports, educational work, commercials and entertainment. His sense of humor and unique style not to mention his tremendous Steadicam skills on skis, snowboards and inline skates will keep him going for years to come. At the moment he is exploring shooting from his newly designed Powered Paraglider.
