Adobe Photoshop Certificate Program
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
All students who finish this program will receive a signed certificate of completion verifying their participation in the program.
Adobe Photoshop is an essential tool for anyone's "digital tool box." It is widely used for developing components of designs in both the digital and print worlds. Whether you are a graphic designer, web developer, filmmaker, photographer or other digital artist, fluency with Adobe Photoshop will enhance your work and creative process.
In this intensive, five-day course our expert instructor will guide you through the key features of Photoshop while providing the opportunity for you to practice what you've learned by working on a variety of projects with the help of the instructor. We'll start with the very basics and gradually build up to more advanced skills and workflows. The class will also cover how to save or export Photoshop files for a variety of project needs, from print to videos as well as how Photoshop files integrate with other Adobe Creative Suite programs.
After taking this program you will have the knowledge and problem solving skills to work effectively on all types of projects with Adobe Photoshop.
After You Register
BDA is committed to making this process as smooth and enjoyable as possible so that you can focus on your learning. After you register you will be contacted by our staff who can answer questions and assist you with any logistical and travel concerns you might have.
This is a hands-on class where you'll "learn by doing". Therefore you'll need a computer with the latest version of the software (more details on that below). We always recommend that if you have one, that you bring your own computer if at all possible. However, if you need one, we have several Apple iMac workstations with all the necessary software that are available by reservation for only $20 per day. If you need to use one of our computers, please email us so that we can arrange this for you and process the rental payment ahead of time. In most cases, the class will be taught with the Macintosh version of the software but generally the only difference between the Mac and Windows version is the keyboard shortcuts, using the Command key on Mac and the Control key on Windows.
If you would like to take your class work and sample projects home, please be sure to bring a Mac compatible portable drive with 4GB of free space.
Adobe Creative Cloud
This class will be presented from the latest version of the Adobe Creative Cloud. If you are using your own computer for the class, it is important that you have the latest version installed! Adobe offers a free 7-day trial of the Creative Cloud.
