I began my career in video production at People Productions as an intern. I am willing to learn anything and everything about video production. My current position at People Productions is managing the office, the accounting department, and the CD/DVD replication services for People Productions.
I do freelance work and assist on various video productions. I own a Sony HDR-HC7 HDV camcorder and Bogen tripod. I also own my own basic light kit and Final Cut Pro Studio 2 editing system. I have shot many, many hours of conferences as well as cooking school footage. I enjoy so many aspects of the video production world that I currently do not have an exact specialty. I have a variety of skills so I can keep the creativity fresh.
I love to act in plays, go to the movies, and go camping. And I really, really love going to see the Indigo Girls in concert. Currently I am working on digitizing, scanning, editing, archiving, and preserving family photographs & video footage for my personal family ancestry project. I have been working on a long project with my family tree genealogy research, which I started back in 1996. I also have quite a few other personal projects that I wish to do brewing as well.
I have volunteered for BDA during it's first two years to help build the wonderful resource that BDA is today. I love attending the classes and being exposed to various video production elements as well as increasing my proficiency and learning from other industry professionals. It is a wonderful community resource!
