I'm nice. For better or for worse, I'm nice. And, being empathic sets the stage for how I spend my time. Corporate communicator by day, lifestyle photographer by weekend, I'm passionate about getting the perfect shot. It's the shot in which the the lighting, setting and action harmonizes to create an authentic moment. My sweet spot is capturing kids, portraits and families in available light and natural settings.

I owe my creative eye to my father, an academician, who shot slide film in the 1960's and 70's to capture the best moments of raising seven kids, and my enthusiasm comes from wanting to remember the sterling moments in my own life. When I'm not writing, shooting or editing, I'm spending time with my husband and my son in the sunny town of Boulder, Colorado, a mecca for natural grocers.
