Dana Romanoff Photography

I am an award-winning photojournalist that shoots for newspapers, magazines and freelance work. My camera has taken me around the globe photographing social issues. My photographs combine my journalistic training with an eye for beauty.

I received my B.A. from University of Rochester, NY in Cultural Studies and M.A. from Ohio University in Visual Communications: Photojournalism. I am skilled in both film and digital photography as well as multimedia. I often record audio and video for on-line multimedia presentations.

I've won many awards for photojournalism. Most recently I was a 2008 finalist for the PULITZER PRIZE IN PUBLIC SERVICE with a team of reporters at The Charlotte Observer newspaper for a series they produced on foreclosed homes called "Sold a Nightmare."

I am available for assignments locally, nationally and internationally. I shoot editorial, portraiture, commercial and wedding photography as well as do multimedia. I am fluent in Spanish. Some of my clients and publications include, National Geographic Magazine, TIME, Newsweek, New York TImes, AP, Getty Images, NovoNordisc, Presbyterian Today, America 24/7, The Denver Post and numerous other newspapers.
