Boulder Digital Arts Classroom
BDA's primary classroom and event space is available for rent and was designed specifically to create an intimate, versatile and professional environment for training as well as many other kinds of screenings and presentations. The room features extensive audio/visual support enabling everyone to participate at a very high level and can be configured, among other things, as a classroom, as a theater for screenings or as a gathering room for other events. Our classroom is also capable of live video streaming/recording from multiple cameras and desktop sources.
Audio Visual Features
This versatile space is used primarily as the classroom for Boulder Digital Arts training but can be configured as a theater for screenings and a gathering room for other events. Our classroom/theater features:
- High definition video projection (1920x1080) with 11' 16x9 format projection screen
- Digital 5.1 surround sound audio system
- Four built-i high-definition LCD monitors located throughout the room that can either mirror the projected video or display an alternative signal
- Two camera, live video recording and streaming system including the capability to capture computer desktop video
- 8 Macintosh workstations
- A wide range of audio/video connectivity including HDMI, VGA and analog component video
- Comfortable chairs and custom-built desks
- Accommodates 32 people in the classroom configuration or 50 people in theater configuration
- Complete light control and sound proofing
Real-time Video Recording/Streaming
BDA's primary classroom features live video recording and streaming capability! Our technicians can create a real-time mix between the two, high-definition video cameras installed in the classroom along with as many computer desktop sources as required to capture the computer-based portions of the presentation. One of the cameras can be operated by the technician from the adjacent control room with a remote pan/tilt head or you can choose to include one or more camera operator. The resulting video can be displayed live throughout the facilities' monitors, recorded to a high-quality archive file and streamed live to a variety of streaming services including Livestream.com, uStream.com and Justin.tv.

Special Events
BDA has several options if you or your group are looking for a space to hold a private or public event. The space is very user-friendly, features state-of-the art audio/video support, live streaming and recording capability and very affordable rental rates! All of our spaces are clean, well-lit, and professional, and a place where you can be proud to show off your stuff!
You or your caterer can use BDA's kitchen to prepare food, snacks, refreshments, and drinks - the kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave oven, and yes, a dishwasher!
Special Opportunity

Private Screenings
Independent filmmakers can show their latest works on the big screen, in a professional environment. Full HD video and superb 5.1 surround sound will ensure that your work looks and sounds great. Receptions can be held prior to the screenings in our reception area, or in the coworking space. Our kitchen is available to help you prepare and serve snacks if needed.
Private Training
If you are an instructor not affiliated with BDA or an organization in need of a professional training facility where can teach your class, we have the perfect solution. The BDA classrooms were designed from the ground up to be perfect for teaching - and learning. HD monitors are spread out all around the large classroom, so that even if you're sitting in the back, you don't have to squint to see what's on the screen! Both classrooms include full audio/video support, including projectors, screens, and audio.
Business Meetings
Hold your next staff meeting, or client presentation, in our professional, well-designed space, and show off your company, without having having to worry about holding it in your own space. Our gorgeous facility includes all the AV tools you'll need, including HD projector, an 11 foot screen, wireless mic and PA system, video monitors, and the ability to live stream your event on the web or recording for on demand use in the future.
Exhibitions
Have your own solo show, or curate a show of your group's work. In addition to the gallery walls, you'll have full access to our reception area where you can hold a public or private artist's reception. The show can stay up for a day, a week, or a month, depending on scheduling of other shows.
