Have you thought about starting your own podcast but didn't know where to begin? If so, this is the class for you. In this three hour lecture style class we'll explore the software and hardware you need to get started, how to distribute your podcast and just what the heck you should talk about. This workshop will cover:- Microphones

- Picking the right place to record
- Audio recording and editing applications
- Podcast topics and show schedules
- Distributing your podcast
- Tracking podcast listeners
- Insider tips and tricks

Presented as a Lecture-Style Workshop:
These are our most affordable training programs, designed to introduce a subject quickly and efficiently. Students can take notes from the instructor's projected computer screen, and/or bring their own computer to follow along. Lecture-style workshops are normally held on weekday evenings from 6 pm – 9 pm and contain a maximum of 30 students (average is 8-20).

Instructor:
 Jeff Gamet is the Managing Editor of The Mac Observer, Contributing Editor for Design Tools Monthly, and author of "The Designer's Guide to Mac OS X." He co-hosts the Apple Weekly Report, Design Tools Weekly and iPhone Alley pods, and appears regularly on the MacVoices and MacJury pods. He is actively involved in the blogging and social media world, and speaks on social media, design and Apple-related topics at popular events like Macworld Expo, the Macintosh Computer Expo and the RSA Conference on technology security.
